Walker Building Maintenance started with a bucket and a squeegee in 1981. Howard Walker, the company founder, saw the need for professional window cleaning and steam cleaning of walks which led to parking lot sweeping as an essential addition to the portfolio of services.
All services are delivered with the same common denominator: Whatever the customer wants the customer gets. If the price is too high then we will lower the price or inform the customer our compensation must meet the quality requested. Success with the leading North Bay property managers is directly related to our competition thinking of service as an added cost to business. At WBM service is not a cost but instead the product that drives the company. To date WBM has never lost a contract over a quality issue.
Websites and broachers trumpeting a company's vision and success are an everyday fact in the service industry. As important as this information is, the real factors of success are the people that implement the cleaning services. Employees of WBM share the same philosophy as management. Nothing is left to chance and no customer request is considered unrealistic. A window, sidewalk and parking lot are either clean or dirty there are no compromises when cleaning commercial property.
By constantly questioning cleaning methods and looking for creative solutions, WBM has been able to evolve as a company that solves problems that plague the appearance of commercial property. Perhaps it may involve increased sweeping frequency or steam cleaning of high traffic areas that need more attention. What ever is needed is provided. This can only occur through our systematic approach of constant inspections of properties coupled with employee/management accountability. Every property is treated like the only property we clean even with over 300 properties under contract.
Everyday presents a new challenge in exterior building maintenance, but Walker Building Maintenance has demonstrated for over 30 years that no cleaning problem goes unsolved. Most importantly we are a company dedicated to the community and this is proven by our substantial donations to public schools with our PIE project (Partners In Education).
